Michelle Will Steal Your Pie

Michelle Obama says "...someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more." ....... This mind set is at the heart of the redistributionist, centrally controlled government thinking of classic Socialists. It reflects the belief that there exists only a fixed pie. They believe there is only a fixed amount of pie available and that if government doesn't step in and control the distribution of the pie, then many will not get their share. These Socialists cannot see that if "Bob the Baker" has the freedom to do so, the freedom to keep his profits from the sale of slices of his pie, the freedom to invest his gains as HE SEES FIT, he will bake more pies. Hell, he might even open a new bakery or two, employ a few more people so he can sell EVEN MORE pies - everything from basic apple pie to mocha-latte-whipped cream-truffle delights! The redistributionists say .... oh No, Bob.... that is greed! We cannot allow you to do that. You've got to "give up a piece" of your pie, because some people cannot afford your exorbitantly costly double-chocolate, banana cream, key lime pies....... we've got to take your profits and give it to these folks. Then everyone can afford it.

The result: Bob bakes only apple pies, using cheap apples from his neighbor's backyard tree, because that is all his meager net after taxes allows him to buy. He lays off his two extra bakers because he, his wife and kids can bake the few pies he sells to a dwindling customer base. He closes the two bakeries he opened, sending the two union bakers he was forced to employ out on the street .... to be supported by Bob's State unemployment tax payments. He gives his two delivery trucks to charitable organizations, only to be told by his tax accountant that that this donation doesn't qualify as a tax deduction because Bob earned too much profit last year. The Federal Bureau of Pies inspects Bob's operation and fines him twice his now minuscule annual income for using unhealthy, un-inspected, environmentally unfriendly apples. Bob defaults on his loan on his remaining bakery's mortgage. His bank is paid off by the Federal Government. The local Democrat Party takes over Bob's Bakery and turns it into a campaign office for the next Presidential campaign.

CANNOT PEOPLE SEE THE ABSURDITY OF THE REDISTRIBUTIONIST ARGUMENT ????
