Obama's links to organized labor and the enviromentalists have caused him to promise to re-write the North American Free Tradee Agreement (NAFTA). This is prompting Canada to take a second look at its trade with the U.S. This week Canada moved to sign a free trade agreement with France..... now begins the diminution of trade with the U.S. in favor of Europeans.
"Under an Obama administration, the United States will be more protectionist than Europe. That's a recipe for economic decline. As with so many of Obama's policies, however, the full extent of the damage will not be evident until long after he leaves office."
