Have you noticed how the salesmen for Obama's stimulus plan talk about "saving or creating" 4 million jobs? That's a real clever piece of c-y-a, insurance gamesmanship. A few years from now (e.g. during the 2012 campaign) even if the nation's unemployment remains the same as it is now, they can still claim "look at all the jobs we SAVED" !
There is no way to measure "jobs saved".
