While Senator Obama was campaigning for the presidency, he explained in some detail the problems facing the country, notably high unemployment. After two and a half years into his first term, President Obama continues to explain, eloquently, the problems facing America. When he was inaugurated in January, 2009, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the non-farm employment in this country was 131,555,000 vis-a-vis 130,788,000 in August 2011, a decrease of 767,000 employees. Voters elected Mr. Obama to solve problems, not continue to talk about them.
