Times touts economic momentum, recovery; in 1992, not so much

In yesterday's New York Times ..... Unemployment drops 0.1% ... signals Obama's recovery efforts are working.... "The most heartening employment report since last summer suggested on Friday that a recovery was under way -- and perhaps gathering steam."

On this very day in 1992 the New York Times reports ..... Unemployment drops 0.1% .... signals Bush (41) is in trouble .... "But the improvement was not enough to signal a stronger economic recovery.... (the economic news) gave no suggestion that the economic recovery was breaking out of its painfully slow pace".

Same data, different conclusion by the NYT depending on who is President ....... oh well, the media really isn't biased.
