Obama Bid to Cut the Government Tests Congress

" President Obama on Friday announced an aggressive campaign to shrink the size of the federal government ...... The White House estimated that the consolidation would save $3 billion over 10 years...... The savings is a mere rounding error in the $3.7 trillion annual budget"[NY Times]

Let's run the math on this ........ The government SPENDS $3.7 trillion per year = $10.14 billion per day = $422.3 million per hour.

This fantastic savings that our Dear Leader has announced is $3 billion over ten years = $300 million per year. That YEARLY savings is about 46 MINUTES of federal govt spending! [clipper]
