Video: Female Democratic lawmakers refuse to speak out against Bill Maher’s misogynism

"The president and liberals want to talk about a “war on women”? How about the war on conservative women? It’s happening, but liberals prefer to stay silent about it — when they’re not directly waging it.

For years, comedian Bill Maher has been one of its generals. One of the most egregious examples of his disdainful derogation and objectification of women whose political ideology he despises was his disgusting denouncement of Sarah Palin as a “c-nt” at a live show in Texas last March.

At issue here is the language they [both Limbaugh and Maher] used — language that President Barack Obama, to judge by his condemnatory remarks of Rush, supposedly wants to be eliminated from the public discourse entirely (and I agree — it should be!).

If that’s the case, how can the president possibly condone the Alabama Democratic Party’s decision to recruit Bill Maher to headline a fundraiser March 17? How can Obama not denounce the $1 million donation Maher made to his Super PAC?"
