Find out how much your doctor receives in Medicare payments. Enter the doctor's name and check it out. You might be surprised. Beware of thinking these reports reflect Doctor's total income because these figures show ONLY Medicare reimbursement. Of course there are his share of costs and salaries he pays out of these Medicare reimbursements.
In my case my Internist received the lowest of the six medical doctors I see and the Retina Specialist is at the top reimbursement received in 2012 by about four to one.
Strange, isn't it? The one who is central to my health care, my Internist, receives the least. All the specialists he directs me to receive MUCH more.
