NPR Ombudsman twittered: "#NPR Ron Schiller said in the full two hour Okeefe video he is a Republican, and was raised as a Republican. that didn't make it in video"
Patterico challenged: "Uh-oh! There goes that James O’Keefe again, with his heavily edited and deceptive videos! Why, I bet he wasn’t even wearing a pimp costume! Her message was repeated by Jack Shafer of Slate and Radley Balko of Reason — and more than 100 others, as you can see.
Just one problem: the message was flatly untrue. And when I called her on it, her regard for facts was about what you would expect from an NPR ombudsman."

Read this entire exchange wherein the NPR Ombudsman refuses to correct her assertion that NPR's Ton Schiller said he IS a Republican. The full video recording shows (at 12:52:48) that he said "I voted mostly Democratic lately".
