The payroll tax increase he said threatens average working Americans wages to the tune of $40 per week is an outright LIE! A 2% increase in the payroll tax of a $50,000 per year salary amounts to $1,000. With 52 weeks per year, the tax increase would have amounted to $19.21 per week!
