Uffner's Puff

Without a budget, Congress continues to pass Continuing Resolutions to fund federal operations when the Debt hits yet another ceiling, including all of the new programs instituted by the Obama administration. Therefore, when the Republican controlled House of Representatives votes to approve another Continuing Resolution, it is tantamount to its approving of the Obama instituted programs.

At the very least, the House should insist that it will not approve any more Continuing Resolutions until the Senate presents a budget. That would expose to the public the Senate's goal and the cost to the taxpayers of achieving it. [Dan Uffner]
